Volunteering for the Habitat ReStore
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity of
Summit County ReStore!
Whether you believe you're skilled or not, have one day each week or just a
few hours a month, represent a group or just yourself – there’s an opportunity
for you at the Habitat ReStore. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer
(anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign a waiver of
liability).
Individuals - Volunteer positions are flexible so that they
work with your busy schedule.
Groups - Work days can be arranged that are both fun for your
group and tackle a 'special project' of the ReStore all at the same time!
Corporate - Your company can register as a group or
individual employees for your company's community service program.
School Service - With Saturday and after-school hours, the
ReStore is an excellent place to complete service-learning requirements.

Some volunteer activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Pricing
- Maintenance of the store
- Customer service
- Organization of merchandise
- Inventory (twice a year)
- Receiving (unloading and loading donated materials and merchandise)
- Truck runs/pick ups
- Data entry
- Promotions (distribution, mailings, etc.)
